Introduction

We have designed the policy for four reasons:

  1. To monitor changes.
  2. To provide clear indications on procedures for everyone's benefit.
  3. To improve animal welfare at the college.
  4. To eliminate risks and improve quality and performance.

The plan will comprise:

  1. Disease security protocols. All animals and people that come on to the farm are either a disease risk to the stock or are at risk from the stock. Consideration is always given to these risks and the appropriate actions taken.
