The following management prescriptions will be carried out on the boundaries which are marked in red at Schedule 1 (the Agreement map). These are also identified at Schedule 4 to this Agreement:

Hedgerow restoration should achieve a dense stock-proof hedge within five years of the work being carried out. To achieve this hedges should be restored by a combination of laying/coppicing/gapping up/planting, using native plants of locally common species. No one species should comprise more than 60% of the total mix. Follow the specifications at Schedule 5 to this Agreement but with the regional variations shown below:

Ditch restoration should achieve the complete re-establishment of bankside and aquatic habitats within three years of the work being carried out. To achieve this ditchs/dykes must be restored following the specifications at Schedule 5 to this Agreement
