Each week five agricultural students work on the College's farm on a rotational basis. They work on the dairy, beef and sheep enterprises, to gain work experience.
Students from a variety of courses get involved in 'practicals' - such as routine weighing, worming, vaccinating, dehorning, feeding and fencing. There is also the opportunity to observe some activities, such as AI and pregnancy diagnosis of the dairy cows, scanning the sheep and selecting finished animals for sale.
The farm is also used for short courses and visits from interested parties and schools.
