The tractor strip of a Massey Ferguson 590 took place on March 17th starting at 06:00 and finishing at 03:00 the following morning. 12 1st year students from the National Diploma in Land Based Technology course completely overhauled the tractor which was then used for 24hrs ploughing in the Ploughing Marathon pulling a Kvernland 3 furrow reversible plough. The tractor was run on recycled chip fat.
